I’m still behind on my book reading but I did just finish Angela’s Ashes by Frank McCourt. This book was great. Angela’s Ashes chronicles the lives of Frank and his family during his tumultuous childhood, spent growing up in the lanes of Ireland. --- along with Frank as his family suffers with malnutrition, poverty, and alcoholism.
I didn’t really know what to expect when I started reading Angela’s Ashes, but loved the story line and Franks innocent style of writing. Having ancestors from Ireland around that time period also helped me make strong connections with the characters.
There are currently only two copies of Angela’s Ashes on Paperbackswap.com so you should request a copy today.
